Snow has finally made its way to London! I couldn’t help it. As soon as I opened my curtains and saw that the streets were covered in white, I dashed right outside to jump around in the snow… until I realised how cold it actually was and that I was still in my pyjamas. Slightly silly and reminiscent of my 5-year-old self who saw snow for the first time. But hey, snow does weird things to people – or am I its only victim?
To keep myself warm, I’ve been relying on layers and layers of clothes. My Uniqlo Heat Tech thermals have been really good daily companions. I’m thinking that you might be fed up with my creepers now that they have appeared in roughly 3/4 of my outfit posts recently but I just cannot stress enough how practical they are. Not only they’re easy to dress up with, they’ve been keeping me safe from the water puddles during the heavy London rains and now from the thick layers of snow as well. Such a great investment.
I recently got this animal print coat from ASOS during the sales. Although it’s called the “ASOS Coat in Leopard with Button Front“, it looks more like a cheetah print to me. Minor detail, but seeing that it’s a rather good deal, I wouldn’t mind even if it was called something silly like ‘gorilla suit’. I love the vibrancy of the pattern and texture. Initially, I wanted a thick furry one but then opted for this slimmer one instead so that I could still wear it during the warmer season. To counterbalance and highlight the boldness of the feline print, I chose to combine it with a simple dark outfit.
Anyhow, I’m sorry for the really long hiatus. Seeing that term has now started, I had to prioritise my time to catch up on school work but hopefully, I will be able to post more things on this blog soon!
